We recently purchased a new Trane Heating and Air Conditioning System from Home Depot, through Universal Services. We are very pleased with the performance of the new system. It is much quieter than our old system, and the variable-speed fan makes it much more comfortable.
Our sales person made the transaction even better. Starting with the first time we talked with him at Home Depot, he was very friendly, professional and informative about the system.
When your salesman came to our home the first time to evaluate our specific heating and air conditioning needs, he was extremely helpful and understood what we wanted. Together we came up with a solution for our noise problem by relocating the return air vent to a hallway.
The installation date was scheduled quickly; and since then, he has gone the extra mile to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase.

Your lead technician did a very good job in taking care of the installation, which I though was done in a thorough and professional manner. This included being sensitive to clean up and tidiness.
The gentleman, who came in afterwards for some clean-up items, including some painting and reworking of the attic stair reinstallation, also did a very good job. I just wanted to say THANK YOU, for the last couple of days I have spoken with several HVAC Co. and was under the impressions that my call was not important enough or I should just schedule and appointment to have an engineer come out and give a free estimate on installing a new furnace. I was very unsatisfied with this treatment and given information. I began checking the web for other information, when I checked with Georgia Power Co. yours was listed as a good company for service.
From the first call with your customer service representative who took the time to listen to my complaint. I told her that my furnace would not come on and I needed a new one. She suggested that I have a service representative come out and see what the problem was and that if it could be fixed the small service fee would be taken from the final bill.
The service man that arrived was professional and after checking my furnace took the time to explain the problem and the fee. I now have a new thermostat & warm heat. I did not need a new furnace and was saved a lot of money by using you company. Thanks again for such great customer service.

I have just recently had a system installed by your company. I can't say enough good things about the people that I came in contact with. The salesperson is excellent. Everything that he told he did, without hesitation. He followed up after the job, truly a professional if I have ever seen one. The installers were just great. They did their job with pride and were very particular about everything they did, and their attitudes were wonderful. Your salesman is a very knowledgeable about what he does and is in every way a professional. A few days later I had a problem and called your office. About 5 minutes later your service manager called and said he would be there soon. About l5 minutes later he arrived and fixed my problem. He as well is a professional in every sense of the word A couple of days later he called and followed up.
In this day and time it is so unusual to find a company that is so customer minded. Most companies want you to think they are doing you a favor, but not Universal. After the economic boom is over in the Atlanta companies like yours will continue to do business while the other will have come and gone. People are tired of the poor service they are getting, when they find a company as good as yours they will spread the word. We purchased a heating & air system via Home Depot from your company a couple of years ago and have been satisfied with the performance so far. We are using a local guy for service but because of the special sizes of replacement filters, it is my understanding that your company is the only one who handles those sizes. It is inconvenient for us to go to Norcross to pick up those filters so we wanted to know if we had other options. When I called yesterday and spoke with Robin, she told me I would either have to come there or pay a service fee to get these filters. I called Bruce at Home Depot and he was extremely helpful in assisting with my situation even to the point of offering to get his boss (who was in your area yesterday) to go by your company, pick them up and deliver to the Home Depot in Gainesville where I would get them. However, Robin called back (she was very courteous) and told me that you had a tech in the area that could deliver a case of each filter to my home that day for just the cost of the filters. I really appreciate everyone''s help in this matter.

First let it be said that I normally do not write letters to companies. However, the service received in the past two days have prompted me to do just that.
I am so impressed and completely satisfied with you and your staff that I had to express my gratitude. Too many times, all a company hears are the complaints and negative comments; I just wanted to give you some positive feedback. Your salesmen came into our home for an inspection/consultation yesterday morning. In roughly an hour, they had inspected, calculated and explained the whole process to me. In addition, they secured the financing and scheduled the appointment for the next day!!! All of this was done in a friendly, non-aggressive manor. I never felt pressured or rushed. As promised, your installers arrived promptly at my house this morning. Upon politely introducing themselves and asking a few questions, they began the process. I was never disturbed or disrupted, even though they had indicated that there might be occasional noise. Although they said the job might take 1 1/2 days, they were completed by 4 p.m. this afternoon. Not only did they finish the job, they completely cleaned everything - they left the area immaculate. They thoroughly went over what had been done, showed me how to operate the thermostat, and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed or that they were in a hurry to leave - I truly felt that their intent was to make certain I understood everything with the new unit.
I could go on and on, but let me finish by saying I can't think of a company I have worked with that has given such outstanding customer service. The whole process from beginning to end took less than 48 hours, and the people involved were exceptionally kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Suffice it to say that you will always have a customer with us, and all of our friends and family will hear of you as well. Thank you for a job well done!!!
